Herbert Grootbod

Herbert Grootbod is an experienced project manager in the offshore energy and shipbuilding sectors, currently serving as Project Manager at HSM Offshore Energy BV since May 2023. Previously, Herbert held various project management roles at Royal IHC from May 2018 to May 2023, overseeing underwater remote vehicle projects, shipbuilding initiatives, and vessel upgrades. Prior experience includes serving as Superintendent Technical Services and Senior Project Engineer/Manager at Combifloat Systems B.V., as well as project management and trainee roles at Keppel Verolme and Maersk Line. Herbert holds multiple degrees in Marine Technology from Delft University of Technology and NTNU, along with a BSc in Maritime Operations from NHL Hogeschool.
