Avijit Chatterjee

Avijit Chatterjee is an Independent Consultant with over a decade of experience in social activism focused on tenure security and sustainable livelihoods for forest-dependent communities. They have previously held positions as a Process Trainer at Barclays Bank and Wipro, and as an Information Technology Specialist at HP and Digital Equipment Corporation. Avijit has also worked as a Social Activist with Vikalp Foundation and coordinated significant community forest rights projects with the Indian School of Business and All India Union of Forest Working People. With a strong educational background from Calcutta University, Avijit is committed to challenging governance structures to foster innovative changes in social justice and environmental sustainability.
