Tai Ito

Tai Ito has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. From 1996 to 2001, they worked at Motorola Japan Ltd. as the Manager of Product Marketing, overseeing the commercialization of PDC phones for DoCoMo. Tai then joined Sony in 2001, where they held positions such as General Manager and Head of Product Planning and Management at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB, and Senior Product Manager in the mobile gaming incubation project at Sony Corporation. In 2010, they joined HTC America Innovation Inc. as the VP of Product, Creative Labs, leading the development and launch of products across HTC's global product portfolio. Tai later worked at Huawei Technologies as the VP and Head of AR/VR Business Unit, responsible for building a scalable and sustainable AR/VR business platform. In 2018, Tai Ito became the EVP and Senior Executive Officer at WHILL, Inc., a Japanese startup focused on personal mobility. Tai joined Asurion in 2019 as the Head of Product for Asurion Japan K.K. Currently, they hold the position of SVP Strategic Partnership at HTC VIVE, and previously served as the SVP of VIVERSE Product.
