Rajiv Nayar

Rajiv Nayar is an experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as President of HTD Biosystems since March 2001 and Chief Scientific Officer at ENGIMATA INC since March 2019. Previously, Rajiv Nayar held the position of Director at Bayer from 1991 to November 2000, where a formal group focused on the formulation and drug delivery of biologics was established, becoming a center of excellence within the company. Prior to that, Rajiv Nayar worked at Canadian Liposome Company from 1987 to April 1991 as Head of Formulation/Drug Delivery, contributing to the development of the first generation of liposomal anticancer drugs. Rajiv Nayar began a career in research as a Post Doctoral Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center from 1984 to 1987. Educationally, Rajiv Nayar holds a PhD in Biochemistry from The University of British Columbia and completed postdoctoral studies in Cell Biology at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
