Nemanja Kovacev

Nemanja (Nick) Kovacev, MD PhD MBA, serves as the Head of Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice and MedTech Expert at HTEC Group since July 2022, while also practicing as an Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon at Polyclinic Orto MD. Previously, Kovacev held the position of Digital Health Lead at SYRMIA and was a Java and Android Software Engineer at RT-RK. An experienced Android Developer, Kovacev operated as a self-employed professional prior to that. Additionally, Kovacev contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, and worked at the Clinic for Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, Clinical Center of Vojvodina. Starting a medical career at the Institute for Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina, Kovacev has a solid educational background, including an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a PhD in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology from the University of Novi Sad School of Medicine, where Kovacev also obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree.
