Dhruv Ahluwalia

Dhruv Ahluwalia has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2018, they worked as a STEM Teaching Assistant at Chadwick School, where they led a VEX IQ Robotics class and also assisted in teaching various math classes. In 2020, Dhruv served as a Contractor-Intern at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, conducting research on the edX online learning platform and developing an education and training report. The following year, they joined UBC Baja SAE as a Student Design Senior Team Member, where they contributed to designing and manufacturing hydraulic brakes and suspension integrated wheel hub sub-systems. Dhruv's next role was as a First Year Student Orientation Leader at The University of British Columbia, where their responsibilities included building community and facilitating co-curricular programming for first-year students. In 2021, they interned at LAcarGUY as a Summer Intern, specializing in Volkswagen, and was responsible for redesigning the technician time tracking process and developing VBA scripts for automated data entry. Most recently, Dhruv joined SoCalGas as an Engineering Intern in 2022, where they developed an automated inspection tracking platform using Excel, VBA, Power BI, and Access.

Dhruv Ahluwalia completed their high school education at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School from 2015 to 2019, obtaining a High School Diploma with a focus on STEM subjects. Dhruv then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Integrated Engineering at The University of British Columbia, starting in 2019 and expected to graduate in 2023.

Additionally, Dhruv has obtained certifications in Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel 2016 from Microsoft in December 2020 and Technology Entrepreneurship from HarvardX in August 2020.
