Tim Murray's work experience includes various roles in the field of clean energy and engineering. Tim is currently working at HTEC as the Manager of Modelling and Analysis, leading a team that helps customers transition their vehicle fleets to zero-emission. Tim uses data-driven approaches to guide fleet operators towards decarbonization while maintaining performance standards and minimizing costs.

Prior to their role at HTEC, Tim worked at Zen and the Art of Clean Energy Solutions Inc. as a Project Engineer, where they conducted quantitative analysis and provided project management services for clean energy technologies, with a focus on hydrogen and fuel cells.

Before that, Tim held the position of Junior Engineer at MEA Forensic Engineers & Scientists in 2018. Tim also has experience as an Independent Consultant, where they supported evaluations of utility energy efficiency programs across the United States and Canada as an Energy Efficiency Consultant.

Additionally, Tim worked as a Senior Analyst at The Cadmus Group, Inc., where they provided project management services and conducted engineering analysis in the energy efficiency sector. Tim has evaluated various energy-saving technologies, including HVAC systems, lighting, thermostats, VFDs, and biomass boilers.

Tim's educational background includes being a Graduate Student at MIT from 2012 to 2014, a Teaching Assistant at McGill University from 2010 to 2012, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia in 2011.

Finally, before their career in the clean energy industry, Tim worked as a Casual Dining Supervisor at Grouse Mountain from 2005 to 2010.

Tim Murray completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at McGill University from 2007 to 2012. Tim then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2014.
