Trang Chu has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Trang started their career as the Co-Founder and Marketing Director of MICE Planet SDN BHD, where they developed and managed marketing strategies for business events in Southeast Asia. Trang then co-founded and served as the General Manager of ASIA EXPO MANAGEMENT SDN BHD, where they focused on consulting and brand management. Trang then took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Walnut Wellness, contributing to the strategic direction and plans of the startup. Currently, they are working at Huobi Global, initially as a Senior Business Development Manager and subsequently taking on roles such as Europe Business Development Lead, Director of Global Business, and Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships & Project Listings, where they play a crucial role in the success of one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges. Trang's achievements include securing funding for startups, achieving impressive revenue growth, and creating user traction for digital wellness coaching apps. Trang Chu's education history includes a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia, with a concentration in an unspecified field of study, which they earned from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Chung Ling High School, focusing on science from 1998 to 2005. Trang later pursued a Master of Science in Marine Sciences at Universiti Sains Malaysia from 2009 to 2011. Recently, in 2018 to 2019, Trang Chu attended the University of Düsseldorf for German Studies. In addition to their academic studies, they hold several certifications including IBM Blockchain Essentials and IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer from IBM, obtained in 2019. Trang also obtained a GIMI Innovation Associate certification from the Global Innovation Management Institute in 2017.
