Li Chen

Li Chen has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. From 2004 to 2010, they served as the CSO at Roche R&D Center China (Ltd). During their time there, they contributed to the development of innovative medicines. In 2010, Li Chen joined Hua Medicine as the President and CEO. Hua Medicine is a biotech startup focused on discovering and developing innovative treatments for Diabetes and CNS disorders. Li Chen's leadership has led to the establishment of a drug development portfolio, including the advancement of a Glucokinase activator to China Ph III trial at an industry-record speed.

Li Chen received a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University, where they attended from 1988 to 1992.
