Chong Wang

Chong Wang currently serves as Chief Risk Officer at both HuaTai Securities Co., Ltd. and Huatai Financial Holdings (Hong Kong) Limited, overseeing overall risk functions at the group level and in the Hong Kong office since December 2014 and February 2015, respectively. Previously, Chong held the role of UK Regional Risk and Compliance Officer at China International Capital Corp, where responsibilities included supervising risk and compliance in the UK office. Chong's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President and Head of European Rates Risk Analysis at J.P. Morgan, and as Head of European Middle Office and EMEA Regional Risk Officer at Bank of China, where a European regional risk control center was established. Chong Wang has a Master’s degree in Finance from London Business School and holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China. Chong is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
