Hong Liang

Hong Liang is a prominent finance executive with extensive experience in institutional business and research. Currently serving as Co-Chairman of the Institutional Business Committee at 华泰证券 since July 2022 and as a Partner at Hillhouse Capital Management since June 2020, Hong Liang has previously held significant positions at CICC as Head of Research and member of the management committee, where key roles included co-heading sales trading and leading capital markets. Prior experience also includes serving as Chief China Economist and Co-head of Asia Economic Research at Goldman Sachs and an economist at the International Monetary Fund. Academic credentials comprise a PhD in Economics from Georgetown University and a BA in Law and International Relations from Peking University.
