Kai Zeng

Kai Zeng is a seasoned expert in data and AI convergence, currently serving as the Chief Architect at Huawei, overseeing both the Data & AI Convergence initiatives and the Huawei Cloud Data Warehouse Service from August 2022 to January 2025. With extensive experience in cloud computing and big data systems, Kai Zeng previously held positions as a Staff Engineer at Alibaba Group and a Senior Scientist at Microsoft, where significant contributions were made in the Cloud and Information Services Lab (CISL). Additionally, Kai Zeng has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China since July 2021 and completed a Postdoctoral Researcher role at the University of California, Berkeley. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from UCLA and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Zhejiang University.
