Melanie Dowling

Melanie Dowling is currently the Head of Tax Policy at Huawei, where they oversee tax management processes and engage with key stakeholders regarding tax policy. Previously, they served as Head of Global Tax Management, leading compliance efforts across 170 countries and driving significant tax transformation projects. Melanie’s extensive career includes roles at major firms like PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG, where they built national tax practices and directed engagements for large multinational companies. They also held leadership positions on various boards, including the British American Business Council of New England. Melanie earned a BA Honours in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from the University of Essex.
