Qiming Li

Qiming Li is a Principal Engineer at Huawei Technologies since March 2017, with prior experience as Engineering Director and Chief Engineer at Cloak, where the role involved designing and implementing cloud-based security solutions. Qiming began a career in research as a Research Fellow focusing on computer security and cryptography at the Institute for Infocomm Research and Polytechnic University from 2006 to 2012. Initial research experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, specializing in networking security. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, both obtained from the National University of Singapore, alongside a high school education from Wuhan Foreign Languages School.
