Craig Tappel

Craig Tappel serves as the Chief Sales Officer for the North American Construction Specialty Practice and as a Healthcare Specialty Practice Expert at HUB International, where work has been ongoing since June 2016. Previously, Craig held the position of Sales Leader and Commercial Producer at Brown & Brown Insurance from April 2013 to June 2016, and served as General Manager of Underwriting & Marketing at Deep South Insurance from April 2010 to September 2012. Earlier in the career at HUB International, from January 1999 to April 2010, Craig held multiple roles, including Chief Marketing Officer and Risk Management Consultant. Craig began the professional journey as a Risk Management Consultant at Insurance Advisors, Inc. from 1993 to 1999, managing internal functions and developing risk management programs. Educational credentials include an MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business and a degree in Humanities with a focus on Social Thought and Accounting from Louisiana Scholars' College at Northwestern State.
