James Merriman

James Merriman is an experienced insurance executive currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Personal Lines Insurance at Hub International, a role held since December 2005, with primary operations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Orange County, California. Prior to this, James held the position of Western Regional Manager for Private Client Services at Marsh from January 2000 to January 2005, focusing on building a top-quality team in the Western United States. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Vice President at California State Automobile Association, where James established the Life Insurance Division, and various sales management roles at Allstate over a 22-year period. James earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, Education, and Business as well as a Bachelor of Science in History and Social Sciences from Azusa Pacific University.
