Scott McMillen

Scott McMillen is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at HUB International since July 2023. Prior to this role, Scott has been with Baker & McKenzie LLP since September 2011, functioning as Counsel in the Global Equity Services group in Chicago, where responsibilities include working with multinational employers on equity-based compensation programs. From July 2009 to August 2011, Scott was a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, focusing on nonqualified deferred compensation programs. Earlier in 2007, Scott worked as an Associate at Clifton Gunderson, providing advice on federal tax issues for medium-sized privately held corporations and private wealth tax planning. Scott holds an LL.M in Taxation and a Certificate in Employee Benefits Law from Georgetown University Law Center, a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and a BA in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.
