Lucas Crandall has extensive work experience in the field of dance. Lucas began their career as a dancer with the Ballet du Grand Theatre de Geneve, where they performed from 1980 to 2000. After that, they joined Hubbard Street Dance Chicago as an Associate Artistic Director, where they assisted the Artistic Director in various company matters, participated in new creations, and choreographed three new works for the company. From 2010 to 2013, Lucas worked as a Rehearsal Director at Nederlands Dans Theater, where they assisted choreographers in creating new works, rehearsed existing repertoire, and taught ballet classes to the company. Lucas then returned to Hubbard Street Dance Chicago in 2013 as a Rehearsal Director.
