Rachel Flint

VP, Hubbell Homes at Hubbell Realty

As Vice President of Hubbell Homes, Rachel provides strategic leadership, planning and oversight of all homebuilding operations in Central Iowa. She leads all planning, development and implementation for the division, including construction, warranty, design, estimating and sales. Rachel joined Hubbell Realty Company in 2004, and has also served in leadership roles for Hubbell’s public relations, marketing and sales. During her time, she has grown Hubbell Homes from $42 million to $110 million while increasing customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master’s degree in Communication Leadership from Drake University. Rachel currently serves on the Executive Advisory board for Iowa State University’s Master of Real Estate Development Program. She is a past Chair for the National Association of Home Builders 20 Clubs, and a past president of the Greater Des Moines Home Builders Association. In 2016, she helped found the Skilled Trades Alliance, a partnership between the business community and Des Moines Public Schools to promote the trades within high schools, that exists today.

In 2021, Hubbell Homes was awarded bronze from the National Housing Quality Award by Professional Builder Magazine, the only Iowa-based homebuilder to receive this prestigious award. Rachel was also an awardee of the 2021 Lloyd Clark Leadership Award from the Greater Des Moines Homebuilder’s Association. She was 2016 Builder of the Year and 2016 Member of the Year by the Greater Des Moines Home Builders Association.
