At HUBEX (Qendra e Ekselences per Dije dhe Inovacion), our purpose is to spearhead the digital transformation of Albania's infrastructure and communities. Established by the Albanian Development Fund (FSHZH), we operate at the intersection of advanced research and real-world execution. We don't just build software or buy hardware off the shelf-we design, optimize and secure the foundational technologies that empower a modern, connected society.

Based at a dedicated laboratory facility that once was the Construction Institute, established in 1949 as a central state laboratory and formalized in 1979 as the Institute of Research and Technology in Infrastructure. This complex was the scientific backbone of the twentieth-century Albanian civil engineering - responsible for national building standards, material science and structural testing for heavy duty industry. From a site built to test physical building blocks for the nation's physical infrastructure is now being utilized to design software, firmware and networks powering its digital infrastructure.
