Santanu Prasad Sahoo

Santanu Prasad Sahoo has a diverse work experience in various companies. Santanu is currently working as an SDE3 - Technical Lead at Hubilo since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of SDE2 - Technical Lead at the same company from September 2021 to January 2023.

Before joining Hubilo, Santanu worked at Pepper Cloud as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for working on an Agile (Scrum) Development Team and delivering regular updates to the business team and project managers. Santanu also mentored their team and worked on RabbitMQ to manage queues with node and microservices. Santanu has experience in CI/CD with Node and react applications using GitHub Action. Santanu created REST APIs with Node (SailsJs / FeathersJs) and MongoDB. Santanu also performed unit testing of APIs with Mocha and Chai. Santanu gained expertise in developing and designing with React, Redux, and SCSS for web applications. Additionally, they maintained the QA environment using AWS EC2 with GitHub Action CI/CD and focused on standardizing REST APIs and optimizing Node Js code. Santanu also wrote large Mongo Aggregation Querying for search and improved response time.

Santanu's previous experience includes working at LectureNotes Technologies as a Lead Software Engineer from May 2019 to April 2020, a Senior Web Developer from September 2018 to May 2019, and a Web Developer from May 2017 to September 2018. In these roles, they implemented user interface guidelines and standards, designed new web features using Symfony Framework (PHP), and worked on cross-browser compatibility and bug fixes. Santanu also built reusable components across different modules using custom directives and CSS classes.

Earlier in their career, Santanu worked as a Frontend Developer at Afixi Technologies Pvt. Ltd. from July 2016 to May 2017.

Santanu Prasad Sahoo attended Banamalipur Govt High School from 2008 to 2010, where they completed their HSC. From 2010 to 2012, they attended Banamalipur Junior College and pursued their +2 degree in science. Following this, from 2012 to 2015, they studied at Capital Academy of Professional Studies and earned a Bachelor's degree in computer applications with a focus on computer science. Finally, from 2015 to 2017, Santanu Prasad Sahoo attended Trident Academy of Technology (TAT) in Bhubaneswar, where they completed their Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree specializing in computer software and media applications.
