Nathanael Andrews has had a varied and impressive career. In 2010, they began as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Heidelberg. In 2011, they moved to Purdue University as a Research Assistant. In 2012, they became a Teaching Assistant at Purdue University and in 2013 they became a Patent Agent at Slater & Matsil L.L.P. In 2017, they began their first Summer Associate role at Perkins Coie LLP. In 2018, they took on a Summer Associate role at Paul Hastings. In 2019, they began as an Associate at Jones Day and Co-Founder at Hubly Surgical, Inc. In 2021, they became a Judicial Law Clerk at the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Currently, they are an Associate at Perkins Coie LLP, admitted only in California and at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Nathanael Andrews attended Franklin High School prior to enrolling at the University of Portland, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2011. Nathanael then went on to Purdue University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2013. After that, Nathanael Andrews attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where they earned a Juris Doctor in 2019. Additionally, they obtained a Patent Agent certification from the USPTO in June 2014.
