Thorsten Sprenger

Thorsten Sprenger is an accomplished manager with extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors. Currently serving as General Manager at GERSYS GmbH since February 2024, Thorsten oversees the development and manufacturing of high-quality graphic display units and driver assistance systems for railway applications. Prior to this role, Thorsten held senior positions at HÜBNER Group, including Senior Manager Strategy & Development for the Business Unit Mobility and Head of Terahertz-Technology & Photonics at HÜBNER Photonics. Thorsten's earlier experience includes leading public security projects and window and door systems at HÜBNER Group, as well as serving as Department Head for Door Systems at Gebr. Bode GmbH & Co.KG. Thorsten holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kassel, earned between 1992 and 1998.
