Matthew Hornsey

Matthew Hornsey has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Matthew currently holds the position of Lead Software Engineer at Huboo, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Huboo from March 2022 to October 2022.

Before joining Huboo, Matthew worked at QinetiQ from May 2010 to March 2022. During their time at QinetiQ, they held various roles including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. In these roles, they gained experience in using programming languages such as Java, Python, and LabVIEW for projects involving test systems, measurement systems, and monitoring systems. Matthew also had responsibilities in areas such as requirements management, change management, and testing. Additionally, they worked as a Network Engineer, initially focusing on networking and later transitioning into systems engineering and testing.

Matthew Hornsey attended Ermysteds Grammar School from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering at the University of Leeds from 2005 to 2010.
