Owais Shaikh

Owais Shaikh is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the technology and financial sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer for Hubpay in Pakistan, Owais has successfully managed the Pakistan business and attained key approvals for electronic money and lending licenses. As the Founder of Miletap and onceover.ai, Owais has established consultancy and tech solution services, while also co-founding Helpers, a platform for home-based professional services. Owais has held leadership roles in various companies, including as Partner at Fareya Azfar Araoui, Founder and CEO of Workwise LLC FZ, and Director at Hendsa Partners. Additionally, Owais founded Lutebox, creating popular apps and driving significant capital raises. Previous positions include Director at Curacel and Chief Executive Officer for JUMO Pakistan, where Owais advanced digital lending strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Software Engineering and Data Analytics, along with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering and Change Management, both from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology.
