Asha Abraham

Asha Abraham has a long and varied work history. Asha began their career in 1999 as an IT Systems Engineer for Jumeirah International in Dubai, UAE. In 2003, they moved to IBM in NYC as an IT Systems Consultant. The following year, they joined Thomson Reuters as a Technical Support Analyst. In 2007, they were a Project Manager for Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co., Ltd., NYC. In 2008, they became a Security and Compliance Engineer for Fidelity National Information Services. In 2011, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager, IT Security, Privacy and Risk Mgmt. In 2017, they were a Manager, CIO Advisory (Cyber) for Wavestone. In 2018, they were Corporate Vice President | IT Risk and Controls for New York Life Insurance Company. In 2019, they were MD, Principal Architect - Cybersecurity Strategies for HubSpire, an award-winning MBE-certified digital services provider, and a Founding Member for Chief.

Asha Abraham's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1994 to 1997, as well as certification from GEMS Education. Abraham also holds seven certifications from various institutions, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in May 2011, OPN Certified Specialist on Identity Administration and Analytics 11g from Oracle Partner Network in May 2011, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE 2003) from Microsoft in May 2004, CISSP-ISSAP (Information Systems Security Architecture Professional) from ISC2 in March 2012, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 in January 2010, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco in June 2004, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco in September 2002.
