Jack Burns

Jack Burns is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Engineering Lead for Threat Operations at HubSpot since 2025, where they lead threat intelligence and offensive security teams. They previously held positions as a Senior Security Engineer at Microsoft and HubSpot, where they focused on threats and vulnerabilities, and also worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at MITRE. Jack earned a Master of Science degree in Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University between 2015 and 2017, and began their career with internships at Intel Corporation and Micron Technology.
