Sophy Sun is a software engineer with experience in both internships and research positions. At HubSpot, Sophy served as a Software Engineer Intern in the Reliability Mainsail Infrastructure from June 2022 to August 2023 and has continued as a Software Engineer focusing on Framework Scoring since November 2024. Previous internships include a role at Coursera as a Software Engineer Intern for the Enterprise: Coursera For Campus initiative in late 2022 and at PointClickCare, where the focus was on Identity and Access Management in early 2021. Sophy was also a Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto from April 2020 to June 2023, working on NLP Interpretability under the supervision of Annie En-Shiun Lee. Additionally, a Machine Learning Fellowship at AI4Good Lab took place in May to June 2024. Sophy is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (H.B.Sc) in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, with a study abroad program at the National University of Singapore from 2023 to 2033.
