Steve Simmons

Steve Simmons is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at HubSpot since January 2023. Prior to this role, Steve held positions at Twitter as part of the engineering leadership team and at Plex, Inc. as Director of Engineering, overseeing the Content organization and managing a range of products including Plex Media Server and streaming cloud services. Steve's career also includes significant contributions at Microsoft, where development work encompassed the Xbox One and associated core technologies. Steve began in software development roles at Microsoft and Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, gaining a solid foundation in computer science, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Reading.
