Arif Haniff

Arif Haniff, MAcc, FMVA, currently serves as the Manager of Financial Reporting at Hudbay Minerals Inc. since August 2021, previously holding the positions of Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst. Concurrently, Arif is the Director of Finance and Accounting for the Canadian Islamic Union - NPO, a role assumed in September 2020. Prior experience includes a tenure at Deloitte from September 2019 to August 2021 as a Senior Accountant, where Arif excelled in auditing major clients in the mining and metals industry, achieving top performance ratings. Previously, Arif worked as an Inventory Procurement Specialist at Gypsum Technologies Inc. and completed a small business audit for the Canada Revenue Agency. Arif's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, both obtained from the Schulich School of Business at York University, along with a High School Diploma from Castlebrooke Secondary School.
