Cherry Cheng

Cherry Cheng, CPA, CA, CBV, has over a decade of experience in financial management and business valuation. Since May 2015, Cherry has held multiple roles at Hudbay Minerals Inc., advancing from Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to Assistant Treasurer and Director of Risk Management. Prior experience includes serving as a Manager and Senior Analyst in Valuation & Business Modelling at Ernst & Young from September 2010 to April 2015, alongside various accounting roles. Cherry has demonstrated leadership in community engagement as President of the Power Unit Youth Organization, successfully directing significant projects and volunteer initiatives. Cherry holds an International Bachelor of Administration with a focus on Accounting from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
