Juan Carlos Alvarez Lamberto has extensive experience in planning and maintenance within the mining industry, currently serving as Jefe de Planeamiento Planta Concentradora at Hudbay Minerals Inc. since September 2013. In this role, responsibility includes planning the operational launch of the Constancia Concentrator Plant, overseeing staffing, training, and commissioning processes, as well as managing the first inventory of spare parts and consumables. Prior to this, Juan Carlos held the position of Jefe de Planeamiento de Mantenimiento at Empresa Minera Los Quenuales S.A., where responsibilities encompassed planning maintenance for various mining and concentrator equipment. Juan Carlos also worked as Jefe de Planeamiento de Mantenimiento at Minera Bateas SAC, focusing on equipment maintenance management and budget control for operational expenses and capital investments. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Corporate Finance from Universidad del Pacífico and a Master's Executive in Industrial Management from Escuela de Organización Industrial in Spain, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the National University of Engineering.
