Abhijit Saha Banik

Abhijit Saha Banik has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Abhijit started their career as a Summer Analyst at Rystad Energy in 2011, where they were responsible for analyzing and implementing databases for business decision support in the oil service sector. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Intern in Equity Research at Arctic Securities, focusing on equity research and financial modeling of major E&P and oil service companies.

Banik then joined Arkwright Consulting in 2014 as an Associate, where they worked on developing and implementing value-creating strategies for clients. Abhijit stayed with Arkwright Consulting until 2017.

In 2018, Banik joined Story House Egmont NO as a Project Manager in Strategy & Business Development, working on the formulation and implementation of the company's Strategy 2020-22. Abhijit later became the Director of Strategy, leading and facilitating the strategic and financial targets for Story House Egmont Norway.

Currently, Banik works at Huddly as the VP of Strategy. Huddly is a technology company specializing in tools for team collaboration. Banik's role involves combining expertise in design, hardware, software, and artificial intelligence to create smart cameras that improve communication between individuals.

Throughout their career, Banik has demonstrated a strong focus on strategy development and implementation, as well as a solid understanding of the energy, finance, and media industries.

Abhijit Saha Banik completed their education in a variety of institutions, focusing on Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, and related disciplines. From 2006 to 2009, they attended Oslo katedralskole, specializing in Mathematics, Physics, and Economics. Afterwards, they pursued a degree at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained an MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management. In 2012, Abhijit also had the opportunity to study as an exchange student at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, further specializing in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.
