Peter Nyhuus

Peter Nyhuus is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the seismic acquisition industry. Currently serving as Principal Mechanical Engineer at Huddly since April 2020, Peter previously held multiple senior engineering positions at Shearwater GeoServices and WesternGeco, where responsibilities included overseeing marine and land engineering projects. Peter's foundation in mechanical engineering was established with a Master of Science degree from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, earned from 2001 to 2006, and early career experience as a mechanical engineer at Validus Engineering involved on-site consulting for WesternGeco's proprietary land seismic acquisition system, UniQ.
