Brian Sunshine

Brian Sunshine has an extensive background in the finance industry, with a focus on trading and capital markets. Brian is currently serving as the Head of Equity Capital Markets at Hudson Bay Capital Management LP, a position they assumed in June 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Trading at Cub Trading - Hound Partners, Tiger Veda, and Teewinot Capital Advisors from August 2013 to June 2021. Brian also served as the Head of Trading and Capital Markets at Hound Partners during the same period.

Before joining Cub Trading - Hound Partners, Brian worked as a Partner at Copia Capital from September 2010 to January 2013. Brian gained valuable experience as the Director of Trading at Driehaus Securities LLC from September 2006 to July 2010. Prior to that, they held positions as a Senior Equity Trader at TD Waterhouse Capital Markets from 2003 to 2006 and at Fleet Trading from 1999 to 2002.

Brian began their career in the finance industry as a Vice President at Spear Leeds and Kellogg, where they worked from 1994 to 1999. Throughout their career, Brian Sunshine has consistently demonstrated expertise in trading and capital markets, contributing to the success of the firms they have been associated with.

Brian Sunshine has a strong education background in the field of Real Estate and Finance. Brian obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business in 1994. Additionally, they also completed a second BBA degree from Southern Methodist University in the same field and year. Later on, in 2009, Brian pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
