Val Steffek

Val Steffek has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They started their career as a Campaign Field Team Member for the Phil Scott for Vermont Governor Campaign in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, Val worked as an Academic Affairs Senator for the University of Vermont Student Government Association. In 2018, they held a Teaching Assistant role at the University of Vermont Department of Community Development and Applied Economics.

In 2019, Val served as a Recruitment Counselor for the University of Vermont Panhellenic Council and as an Event Director Assistant for Kappa Alpha Theta Headquarters. They also worked as a Seasonal Restaurant Manager at Unqua Corinthian Yacht Club from 2015 to 2019.

In 2020, Val had multiple roles as a Legislative Assistant at the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, a Front Desk Associate at The WaterFront Center, a Lambda Facility Director, and a Lambda Advisory Board Member at Kappa Alpha Theta Headquarters.

Their most recent position is an Office Assistant at Hudson Bay Capital Management LP, starting in 2022.

Val Steffek obtained a High School Diploma from Long Island Lutheran High School in 2016. Later, from 2016 to 2020, Val attended the University of Vermont, where they pursued a degree in Political Science and Global Studies. During their time at the university, Val also attended the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2019 for a short-term program in International Business. In 2015, Val attended Don Quijote - Spanish Language School to study Spanish Language and Literature. Additionally, Val obtained a certification in Marketing Foundations from LinkedIn in June 2020.
