Fred Eshelman

Fred Eshelman previously founded two public companies, Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc. (PPD) and Furiex Pharmaceuticals. He previously served as Executive Chairman of PPD from 2009 until its acquisition in 2011 and was Chief Executive Officer from 1990 to 2009. He was Chairman of Furiex from 2009 until its sale in 2014.
