Ashley Burney

Ashley Burney is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Instructional Manager for International Programs at Hudson Global Scholars since October 2020, where responsibilities include adapting to the needs of international clients and establishing efficient business operations. Prior to this role, Ashley held the position of Director of Girls' Basketball at the Virginia Basketball Academy Foundation from August 2022 to March 2024, focusing on character building and youth development through basketball. Ashley's extensive background in education includes roles as Teacher Supervisor and State Lead at K12, along with teaching science at Falcon High School and Sevier County High School. Early career experiences include positions as a Microbiologist at Colgate-Palmolive and a Research Chemist at Eastman Chemical Company. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Carson-Newman University.
