Dorothy Johnson-Laird has extensive experience in social services, currently serving as the Social Services Manager at Hudson Guild since July 2005, where responsibilities include supervising the Social Services Unit, managing case managers and interns, and overseeing intensive case management for clients. Additionally, Dorothy has worked as a Freelance Music Journalist and Consultant since August 2008, focusing on the documentation and preservation of Africa's diverse music. Dorothy holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Fordham University, a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Creative Writing with a focus on music from The New School.
