Riverkeeper
Sean Keller serves as Executive Assistant at Riverkeeper from May 2020 to the present, bringing extensive experience in media and outreach from a prior role as Media and Outreach Coordinator at Local Futures. In that capacity, Sean oversaw communications strategies and edited various materials. Previous positions include Research Assistant at Vassar College, where Sean analyzed multilingual gaming discourses, and roles involving coordination and communication for events and organizations such as the 'Voices of Hope' Conference and the Mid-Atlantic/Eurasia Business Council. Sean's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Russian Studies from Vassar College.

Riverkeeper
Riverkeeper is a member-supported watchdog organization dedicated to defending the Hudson River and its tributaries and protecting the drinking water supply of nine million New York City and Hudson Valley residents. Riverkeeper is actively involved in several issues and campaigns including, gas drilling also known as fracking, Indian Point, water quality, sewage contamination, pollution enforcement, and Newtown Creek and Gowanus Canal Superfund cleanup. For more than 45 years Riverkeeper has been New York’s clean water advocate. We have helped to establish globally recognized standards for waterway and watershed protection and serve as the model and mentor for the growing Waterkeeper movement that includes nearly 200 Keeper programs across the country and around the globe.
