Perry Sommers has over 15 years of experience in product development, production, costing, quality assurance, and logistics. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Coach as a Production & Costing Manager and Coordinator for Jewelry & Key Fobs, leveraging strong communication skills to negotiate costing agreements. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Jewelry Product Director at Trebbianno LLC, broadening the company's brand portfolio from three brands to nine brands. In 2014, they were the COO at RNI Fashions LLC, and in 2015, they were the Principal of P. Blake Fashion LLC, creating four online jewelry brands. From 2016 to 2021, they were the Director of Product Development and Production at Eddie Borgo and the Director of Sourcing, Jewelry at Camuto Group, where they defined and implemented a new role within the organization and earned recognition for meeting and outperforming profitability goals and margins each year. Perry Sommers has an extensive education history. Perry completed a Graduate Pearls Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America in 2012, took coursework from the Fashion Institute of Technology's Center for Continuing and Professional Studies from 2011 to 2020, earned an M.Mus. in Opera Performance from McGill University from 2002 to 2005, and obtained a B.M. in Voice Performance from The University of Texas at Austin from 1998 to 2002. Perry also holds four additional certifications: Sustainable Supply Chain Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) in July 2022, Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from the Cambridge Judge Business School in April 2022, Sustainable Design Entrepreneur from the Fashion Institute of Technology in December 2021, and Certified Circular Economy Professional (CCEP) from the Circular Economy Alliance in June 2022.
