Dan Burnside's work experience includes roles at multiple companies. Dan worked at Trans World Entertainment as a Consulting Analyst from March 2001 to April 2002. Dan then joined The Blue Book Building & Construction Network, where they held various positions. From May 2002 to April 2007, they worked as a BB-Bid Product Support providing technical/desktop support to users. From April 2007 to February 2011, they served as a Class Specialist/BPM & Project Mgmt., supporting and managing account managers across the country. Dan then became a BPM Product Manager from January 2011 to November 2014, developing product solutions to enhance workflow. From November 2013 to December 2014, they worked as a Workflow Consultant Manager, focusing on driving new business and customer satisfaction. Currently, Dan is associated with Hudson Valley Magazine, initially starting as a Publisher in December 2017 and currently serving as the Director of Business Development since September 2020.

Dan Burnside attended Colonie Central High School from 1992 to 1996, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Communications. Dan then went on to pursue higher education at the University at Albany, SUNY from 1996 to 2000. Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication/Business. Apart from their formal education, Dan Burnside obtained a certification known as AKA - Architect Keystone Alliance (CEU) in March 2016 from The American Institute of Architects (AIA).
