Trevor Knight

Trevor Knight has a strong background in IT operations and support. Trevor started their career at Streamline Systems Inc. in 2013 as an On-Site Technician and Systems Engineer, where they provided technical support, resolved hardware and software issues, and implemented complex IT systems. In 2017, Trevor joined Amazon as an IT Support Engineer, leading a team and providing mentorship. Trevor also acted as a point of escalation for user inquiries and efficiently resolved technical problems. Currently, Trevor is the IT Operations & Security Director at Hudsonville Creamery and Ice Cream, where they manage a helpdesk team, monitors and upgrades infrastructure, and collaborates with vendors to address manufacturing floor issues.

Trevor Knight attended Grand Rapids Community College from 2004 to 2007, where they studied Information Technology. Trevor did not obtain a degree during this time. Later, from 2018 to 2021, Trevor attended Davenport University, where they pursued a degree in IT Project Management. Trevor'sfield of study within this program was Network and System Administration/Administrator.

In addition to their formal education, Trevor obtained several certifications. In July 2019, they acquired the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA. In December 2020, they earned the CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation certification from Cisco. Lastly, in April 2021, they obtained the DevNet Associate certification, also from Cisco.
