Hristo Yankov

Hristo Yankov has a strong background in software development and engineering, with experience spanning over 14 years. Hristo is currently the Chief Technology Officer at HUDstats, a position they have held since May 2021. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer (Java) at Aviaso from June 2014 to August 2016, and as a Software Developer (C++) at Comverse Technology, Inc. from October 2013 to June 2014.

Hristo's career began at Smartcom Bulgaria AD, where they worked as a Software Engineer from August 2008 to September 2011. Hristo developed embedded software for custom network appliances, working with C/C++ and customizing and building embedded Linux & FreeBSD kernels. Hristo also gained experience developing kernel modules and network daemons for GNU/Linux and FreeBSD OS.

Before their role at Smartcom Bulgaria AD, Hristo started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at the same company, where they developed embedded software for custom network appliances, focusing on C/C++ development and customizing and building embedded Linux kernels, from September 2007 to July 2008.

Hristo Yankov pursued their formal education in the field of telecommunications and computer technology. From 2002 to 2007, they attended the Technical School - Electronic Systems in Sofia, where they obtained a Specialist degree in computer technology. Following this, they then enrolled in the Technical University - Electronic Systems for their Bachelor's Degree in telecommunications. This academic journey spanned from 2007 to 2013.
