Carlos Marques

Carlos Marques has a diverse work experience. Carlos began their career at Huf Group in 2002, starting as a Manufacturing and Planning Manager and eventually becoming the Plant Manager. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the President & CEO of the company. Carlos then transitioned to the role of VP Operations Locking Solutions from 2018 to 2019, before becoming the VP Operations America Region from 2019 to 2022. As of the start of 2022, Carlos Marques is currently the Managing Director at Huf Group. In addition to their roles at Huf Group, they also worked as a Teacher at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu from 2009 to 2011.

Carlos Marques has a diverse education history. Carlos is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at IPADE Business School, which started in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2023. Carlos has also attended Lean Associates Singapore in 2022 to study TPS (Toyota Production System) and undergone a program in Mastering Design Thinking at MIT Sloan School of Management in the same year. Earlier in their education, Carlos obtained a PDE (Programa de Direção de Empresas) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from AESE Business School in 2011. Carlos also holds a post-graduate degree in Six Sigma from Polytechnic of Leiria in 2007, a post-graduate degree in Quality Engineer from Universidade do Porto in 2005, and a post-graduate degree in Health and Safety at Work from Porto Polytechnic in 2003. Carlos began their education journey by completing a five-year undergraduate program in Electrotechnical Engineering from Instituto Politécnico de Viseu in 1999. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Mastering Design Thinking from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2022, Body Language for Leaders from LinkedIn in 2017, and Developing Executive Presence, also from LinkedIn, in 2017.
