Dr. Michael Koziol

Dr. Michael Koziol has extensive work experience in various roles within the automotive industry. Dr. Michael is currently the Vice President at Huf Group since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at BMW Motorrad where they held the positions of Task Force Semiconductors and Supply from August 2021 to January 2022, and Head of Strategy, Structures, Digitalization, Sustainability from January 2021 to August 2021. Before joining BMW Motorrad, Dr. Koziol had a long tenure at BMW Group, where they held several positions including Head of Global Production Launches at BMW Motorrad from September 2018 to October 2021, Group Leader Industrialization and Supply Chain Management at MINI from July 2016 to September 2018, Project Leader Supplier Quality for 3/4 Series BMW from January 2015 to September 2016, Project Manager Supply Chain Management for BMW, MINI, RR from January 2014 to May 2015, and Supplier Quality Manager for BMW from November 2010 to December 2013. Dr. Michael also worked as a PhD Student at BMW Group from June 2009 to October 2010. Prior to their time at BMW Group, Dr. Koziol worked as a Masters Student at both BMW Group South Africa from May 2008 to October 2008 and Volkswagen AG from November 2007 to May 2008.

Dr. Michael Koziol obtained a Dr. Ing degree in Industrial Engineering from Technische Universität Graz in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Maschinenbau from Technische Universität Braunschweig between 2002 and 2008. Dr. Michael also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, earned during their studies from 2006 to 2007. More recently in 2021, Dr. Koziol completed courses at Udacity, including AI (Artificial Intelligence) for Business Leaders and Data Science for Business Leaders.
