Ionut Chinta

Ionut Chinta has extensive work experience in the field of consolidation, compliance, and audit. Ionut currently holds the position of Head of consolidation and compliance at Huf Group, where they started in October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Compliance and consolidation specialist at the same company from April 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Huf Group, Ionut worked at EY for over a decade, starting as an Assistant in September 2009 and progressing to roles such as Senior, Manager, and eventually Senior Manager. During their time at EY, Ionut managed client portfolios, prepared contracts and budgets for audit engagements, analyzed the economics of each engagement, and identified new consultancy opportunities. Ionut also audited financial statements and group reporting packages compliant with various accounting standards.

Ionut Chinta attended ACCA from 2009 to 2013, majoring in Accounting and Finance. Ionut then pursued a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from West University, Timisoara, from 2006 to 2011. In 2013, Ionut became a member of ACCA.
