Rainer Heupel

Rainer Heupel has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Rainer currently serves as the Group CFO for Huf Group since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the CFO for thyssenkrupp Mining Technologies from April 2019 to December 2022. From March 2013 to March 2019, they held the position of CFO at thyssenkrupp Presta AG. Rainer also served as the CFO for various other entities within the thyssenkrupp group, including thyssenkrupp Tailored Blanks from October 2004 to February 2013 and ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG, Operating Unit Heavy Plate from October 2009 to April 2012. Before joining the thyssenkrupp group, they worked as a Senior Project Manager and Manager Controlling at ThyssenKrupp Steel AG and Ferrostaal AG respectively. Rainer started their career as a Project Manager M&A at ThyssenKrupp Materials & Services from December 1997 to November 1999 and later transitioned to the role of CFO at Palmers Ltd from December 1999 to February 2002. Rainer Heupel began their professional journey as a Manager Controlling at Ferrostaal AG in October 1996.

Rainer Heupel attended Gerhard-Mercator-Universität Duisburg from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften as a Diplom-Kaufmann.
