Rachael Hennigan

Rachael Hennigan is the current Principal & Chief Executive at Hugh Baird College. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Principal - Curriculum & Quality at Calderdale College from March 2016 to February 2020. In this role, Rachael had strategic oversight for curriculum and the quality of the learner experience. Prior to their time at Calderdale College, Rachael served as the Assistant Principal:FE Quality at University Centre at Blackburn College from July 2010 to April 2016. In this role, they were responsible for the quality assurance and development of all FE provision. Before their time at University Centre at Blackburn College, Rachael served as the Curriculum Leader Sport, Health and Tourism at Blackpool Sixth from January 2006 to June 2010. In this role, they were responsible for curriculum design and the quality of teaching, learning and assessment.

Rachael Hennigan has a degree from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
