Rachel Stewart

Rachel Stewart is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Business & Property Court Deputy District Judge in the High Court at Their Majesty's Court & Tribunals Service since July 2019. Rachel has owned Hughes Paddison while simultaneously functioning as a Deputy District Judge for Their Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service since April 2010. Prior experience includes partnership at Max Engel Solicitors with a focus on civil and commercial litigation from February 2005 to March 2010 and work as a solicitor specializing in litigation at Tollers from June 1999 to June 2004. Rachel began a legal career as a trainee solicitor at Freeth Cartwright LLP, covering litigation, property, trusts/probate, and crime from September 1997 to May 1999. Educational credentials include an LLB in Law from the University of Liverpool and a Legal Practice Course from the College of Law in York.
